Sideboard With a History and A Future

Claiming its character from salvaged pine-bleached and finished with matte lacquer - and brass-finished forged iron bin pulls, this right-sized sideboard can serve many functions in your entry, dining room or media room. The two doors (distinguished as drawers) swing open to three dove-tailed drawers and three adjustable shelves. Imported. 60” wide x 20” deep x 36” high.
$1,595 - from the Sundance Catalog

Gray Furniture is Alive and Well in NYC
This find is from ABC Carpet and Home in New Your City. A bit more traditional than the other two, but I like the similarities in terms of the tonal gray qualities.

Dual Duty as a Kitchen Island or Storage for an Office
The third, most contemporary find and the largest of the three is a repurposed butcher block enhanced with a walnut stain, and a bank of nine drawers for additional storage. The drawers were painted with Sherwin Williams Paint Black Fox and then a silver glaze was added to give it that reflective property as well as enhance the oak grain.

At counter height this could be a kitchen island, with seating on the open side or use as a desk where additional storage is demanded.
